Carpet Anemone Hiding In Rocks

How i ended up getting my anemones off the rock.

Carpet anemone hiding in rocks. But large heteractis anemones are prominent and visible residents on indo pacific reefs. Then the from the 2nd night the rbta hide under the rock i though all anemones like flow and light but i don t see much flow. He has crawed around for about 4 ours then holed up under a rock shelf and firmly planted himself there out of view. Got this rbta last week with a cleaner shrimp the same night i put them in the tank the shrimp disappear i think the rbta ate the shrimp found some shell next day.

So i bought a new bubble tip anemone yesterday and the sob immediately went into hiding. What can i do shor. This is my first anemone is he just acclimating himself to my aquarium. Hadon s carpet anemones should not be subjected to parameter changes in their environment as they will not be tolerated and will result in the death of the anemone.

I had placed it on the bottom then it moved half way up then it moved across to the opposite side of my tank 55 gal and now its on.
